Overview

Kids Block is a parental control and focus app for managing screen time on iPhone and iPad, built with privacy as the default. The application runs entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

Information we collect

None. The app collects no personal data and contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking mechanisms. There is no account to create and no sign in.

Screen Time access

Kids Block uses Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework, which requires your authorization. This is what allows the app to block and unblock the apps you choose. Information from this framework is processed entirely on device, is never sent to external servers, and is never shared with third parties.

Information processed only on your device

To do its job, the app stores the following locally, within its own protected storage:

• Your selection of apps and categories to block (held as Apple's opaque tokens)
• Your blocking state and any active unblock reminder
• Your chosen unlock protection method and PIN, if set

All of this remains on your device and is never uploaded.

Data security

Your PIN is kept in encrypted device storage. Face ID and Touch ID use Apple's Secure Enclave and are handled by the system, never exposed to the app. No information is transmitted over the internet, and the core blocking features work fully offline.

Third party services

No third party analytics, advertising, or tracking services are integrated into the application.

Children's privacy

Kids Block is designed to help parents manage a child's device. It does not collect personal information from anyone, including children, requires no account, and does not require an internet connection for its core functionality.

Your control and data deletion

You remain in full control of the locally stored data. You can change your selection, reset your protection method, or delete the app at any time, which removes its stored settings from the device.
